I've seen it all. Compared to most of you around here i am probably a veteran (or even antique.... lol)...... I was the youngest entrepeneur in my country. Been a navy seal 20 years ago. Owned a factory about 10 years ago with 75 people working for me. Got jacked and lost 5 million. Did the same 7 years ago and lost my last 500k after they discovered asbestos in the roofing of my factory.

So the last 5 years i've been working over 100 hours a week. Doing SEA, SEO, website building (Genesis), social media management, list building, etc. And all it left me was minus $200k.

The only reason i can post on this forum is because of my beautiful daughter. My 3.5 year old angel. If it wasn't for here i would have ended everything 3 years ago. I want to see her grow up, that's the only thing i want. Thats the sole reason i am still keeping my head up.

To keep a long story short:

Who can help me. Please give me advice in what niches to work in, projects to work on. I can do virtually anything, and if i cannot do it, i will learn it. Should i do Amazon products? Adult? Social media? Graigslist? I don't care, as long as i can provide my family with whatever they need.

Help appreciated. You help me, i will return the favor.

Cheers,

Rem
How about offline job? With your experience I'm sure you will find very good job :)
Offline wouldn't be an option. I will file bankruptcy which means every penny earned offline would be confiscated. Online is more flexible.
You can always provide services on odesk or fiverr.

Or provide seo and website services to your area if you are opening a company you can always use one of your family member name.

This is what most people will usually do after they file for bankruptcy.

Hopefully someone will help you out soon. Good Luck
You can build easily and cheap pallet furniture for Garden and even home. Is a trend that running, promoted as ecological structures etc. Is a pretty good start up to your territory. Think about it and if you decided you can find a lot of blueprints in the internet. After this you can promote again your website with this kind of structures.
Like you, I am an older IMer, celebrating my days in the third quarter of my life, PTL. I have been in a similar situation as you, losing it all; money, material goods, home, due to unfortunate events and a bad marriage. But like you, the kids keep me focused on rebuilding not only for myself financially but my big "why" is to be a role model for them. I want them to have the tools to overcome any obstacles that come along in their life's journey.

After the "crash" I had pretty good success as an affiliate, mostly for Amazon, some CPA offers. I focused strictly in the health and beauty niche. I made decent money, enough for the mortgage and living expenses.

But what I found was that there were too many ebbs and flow as an affiliate.

I couldn't count on the traffic streams or the offers getting pulled. Changing gears should be easy enough but I think that when you are under stress to survive monetarily, you make bad decisions when making those changes. At least I did LOL

To get a more stable income, I turned to freelancing as an IM specialist for local businesses. As you already know, it's a lot of hours and the work is bleh but it's a good way to make money fast.

A trick that I discovered was that was that when I specialized in a specific industry, I could demand better rates. Truth be told, I'm not crazy about the work, it's hard... clients are demanding, scripts break, the unexpected is always expected :) But... I can make as much as I want, whenever I want, just by making some local visits or offering a new service that a client might need and not be aware of.

The big takeaway is this; with freelancing you are in control of your destiny, as an affiliate you are always a slave to your affiliate network.

I hope this post gives you some insight and helps you find what you are looking for!
