Listen people... I've manged a data processing dept. for 15 years and currently work as a data analyst for a financial company. If you want to stand out in any field that uses MS Office, get Excel and VBA skills. In my long time experience, it will help you standout more than anything since most people think they're good at Excel and most of the time they are not. You can only do so much with vlookups and pivot tables.
