Odd bits may be of interest to CPA newbies.

NP's advice on applying for CPA networks in the first video was the first time I've seen total honesty advocated i.e. "I am a beginner," and his explanation made sense. His and SM's mockery of people who applied for affiliate status in JVZoo by telling porky-pies was entertaining. NP's email to send to the network if rejected was also perhaps a useful one to model.

NP comes over as very smart, SM as quite slow, unembarrassed at being so. Not sure whether he was playing the part or a genuine newbie. I believe he is actually an experienced IM-er but I'm not sure.

In video 2 they go through SM's application to MaxBounty in detail, over-the-shoulder.

In video 3 ... they review offers. They choose to work with the one suggested by the affiliate manager, although they go no further with this in the course. SM struggles to understand the concept of EPC. Then he struggles to understand that from South Africa he's being shown a placeholder and not the offer itself when in preview mode. NP is incredibly patient. It's interesting because I suppose a total newbie might indeed struggle with the same things.

Because they are aiming for free traffic and therefore largely untargeted, NP suggests they look for International offers but there are only 4. So, they look for low-barrier-to-entry offers that apply to more than the USA and settle on a Survey offer applying to USA, Canada, UK, Australia and NZ. NP leads SM through the process, explaining all the terms in detail and leading him to choose the link.

(Of course their OTO is a plug-in that takes traffic from anywhere and allows you to redirect visitors from countries not appropriate to the offer, to country-appropriate offers, to take maximum advantage of the international traffic intention).

Video 4 was a surprise. NP took SM to Reddit for free traffic. It should not have been a surprise because NP is also the publisher of Ultimate Traffic Monster which is all about Reddit traffic, I'd forgotten. He walks SM through a sign-up, a search for a subreddit, a search for the appropriate one to promote the CPA offer, then the wording to use so they won't get murdered by those opposed to marketing. SM links from Reddit to the offer via a redirect (Invisible Optin). This is actually not what NP recommends in his product on Reddit but, what the hey. It felt a little like he was just trying to get it over and done with.

Video 5 and 6 shows SM attempting apparently to show NP his expertise with Hangouts, and their effectiveness. The first video of the two is based around the survey offer, the next is around an iphone 6 offer and I think it's just to demonstrate the power of Hangouts. It's ovr-the-shoulder in some detail, with explanations of each step. By the end it seems neither of the videos ranked on either Google or Youtube but SM was confident it would happen soon.

Unless I missed it, which is entirely possible because I was fighting an urge to move along, nowhere in the videos do they show the results. On the sales page they have a before and after of the MaxBounty page that shows a $65 earnings but I couldn't find anything to indicate how it got there. From the survey? The iphone? The offer suggested by the affiliate manager? From Hangouts or Reddit? I might indeed have dozed through something but it seems like a big disconnect.

In the final "Conclusion" video they chat about a few things, including Facebook advertising. NP suggests that gaming, travel and coupon offers are currently the safest offers for FB.

Disappointing.

I'm left with the impression that NP is a smart cookie, though. But this wasn't the environment where he could show it.

The presentation was also pretty irritating. SM's face is right in your face, way too close to the screen, which is disconcerting. Wish he'd move back a few feet. And the screen view switched depending on which of the 2 of them is talking and that got quite irritating when NP is leading SM though something on SM's screen but we can't see it ... for a lot of the time all we see is a splash page with NP's image on it because he's the one doing the talking. Later we see NP talking, which is less irritating but I'd rather be seeing the screen SM is showing as he works on stuff live.

I think a complete CPA newbie would genuinely get some value out of it, despite all the flaws. There's nothing there for anyone who knows what they are doing.

The plug-in could be useful for taking international traffic and making the most of it. I think Charles Kirkland offered something similar a long time ago, not sure if they're common.

MrCricket
Thanks for a great and detailed review. +Reps added for it.

2 things I have picked up about this product. First, these statements from SM's sales page seem to contradict each other:

Saul here along with my partner Naidy and Jai to bring you what I learned in last few weeks and changed my online income graph towards up in just a few days.

Just A Week Ago, I Didn’t Even Know What CPA Stood For.

Secondly, this is a link to a video testimonial SM made for Easy Profits Explosion by David Kirby and others. Same location, same swimming pool!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl...B6h_xMO81Y

And here he goes again with a video testimonial for Billy D!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl...Y9N6yiUSiA

If he can promote affiliate marketing, he must have known what CPA stood for!
Excellent share. Thanks again.

BATMAN
Does anyone know of a shorter CPA training, that covers more workable methods? Something that has more actual documentation to go with it, and maybe even methods for multiple traffic sources?
