I love offline material if it is any good. I always seem to find a few nuggets here and there. Maybe this one has a few?

Bought it... not much of a surprise here.
His problem is the 'Tripwire'
He says "give it away fro free".
But then, it's no tripwire, as there is no price to pay.
He confuses 'takers' with buyers.
A real tripwire is something they buy for a small price.
As tripwire, he offers free 'funnel websites', which he creates with ClickFunnels (affiliate link in the ebook).
To me, that's a 'GiveAway', no tripwire.
He then lets them sign up on Hostgator (with his affiliate link), which he might count as tripwire, as it's an initial sale for $0.01.
After the tripwire, he mentions to have a high success rate in selling more exprensive services to 'fire up the funnel', like
Email campaigns
Advertising
Retargeting
Traffic Generation for other souces
SEO
Starting this business:
-go into local businesses with not existing or mediocre websites
-speak to the owner
-only sell them the tripwire (GiveAway)
-later: sign up at least 10 of them as clients for the core offer (>$1000)
-expand from the profits via advertising (PPC/Facebook etc.)
His upsells (I didn't buy) are:
-his upsell package (core offer) that he offers local businesses for >$1000
-an outsourcer package to run the whole system on autopilot.

-select businesses who advertise online and/or offline (AdWords/Yellow Pages/local papers) in a 'branding' way
-use a lead gen WP theme to build a new site / edit in a simple slide-in form into their existing homepage
-build their list on your autoresponder account
-sell this as a TripWire for $47
-argue: they want more customers, so they should collect information from 'not right now' web visitors
-send some cheap local adwords /FB traffic to the site, so they get some opt-ins

-providing client magnets fitting to the ads
-writing email campaigns
As long as a 'Tripwire' taker doesn't use his list (doesn't take the core offer), you can offer the list to other clients.

Wow Johnny! Thank you so much for sharing that information. That's not really the kind of local set up I like.
I do however like local lead gen and I'm always looking for new and creative ways to sell leada and create leads for local businesses.
