sorry buddy i see no benefit in this, let me break this down for the noobs, all this is, is installing a theme he created done manually, what used be called a naked theme in developer circles... this is NOTHING more than a wordpress theme he designed with some of the basic pre-installed worpress options removed. if this guy was smart he would have sold it that way, instead of doing it the old school circa 2007, manual install method. if he was smart, he would have sold it as some kind of naked theme, which is all that it is!

some hosting companies even have the wordpress install button right in your cpanel

when i install a theme, depending on your host, you have at least one or two, 'one click install' options.... i never use the default wordpress theme they give you, so it doesn't take 30 minutes to an hour setting it like he claims... i install BOTH the theme and wordpress both with one click, can be done under a minute each max... for example loading a squeeze page theme, boom done, no settings to change, etc... done in 3 minutes max! sometimes it takes 2 whole minutes if you know what you are doing. do people still manually install, or ftp, themes anymore? that is a waste of time! again, this is just a custom theme he created, it even comes with a maps plugin? why? there are other naked themes around if you want one...without the maps plugin, lol, and if you notice the theme he has here does have pages you may need to remove anyway but i prefer themes already pre-designed for a specific purpose= sales page, squeeze page, you get the idea? in the time he shows you how to install the theme manually, i have a worpress page up and running and DONE! i can install 2 custom wordpress themes in that time easy, no brag, just fact... it is referred to 'one click install' for a reason, look it up. my question is, why would you want a naked theme to begin with?

i may be wrong, but depending on how he created this theme, when you install a new theme to replace this one, many of the default tabs will be back... also, if he did mess with the wordpress base code, when you install a new theme, some or all of the functionality of that theme will be effected... if you messed with themes before, you know, some themes will just freeze on you, you will have to erase everything from your host and start from scratch all over again, all your content will be gone... that happened to me a lot when i was a wordpress noob.... i have learned my lessons well! fyi: the year is 2015, why ANYONE would still be wasting time by ftp'ing a theme to wordpress is beyond me! why make it more complicated than it has to be?

When it comes to any kind of marketing - offline or online, copywriting, Kindle, product development, creating sales funnels and making sales in any and every way humanly possible - I will run anyone - everyone - off the road - period.

I DO NOT have any peers in these worlds with the possible exception of Kindle. I do what I do and dare anyone to compete with me. I beat schmucks who think they are "great" marketers every day of every week.

So I use little "throwaway" apps like this one. And the bigger reason I use lots of these in my business?

I use the "trained chimp" philosophy of hiring outsourcers and VAs. Know that one?

It is a simple concept I first stole and still use every day from McDonald's. Dumb the process way down to where anyone just above the intelligence of a chimp can do the job. This is the unwritten McDonald's mantra.

Even though this sounds harsh, I use this philosophy for any process and for every person I put to work. ANYONE can easily learn how to do WP in a short while with this little bullshit app. I have at least ten other processes that I use at least ten apps just as stupid as this one to get done.

Know what happens?

Everything - and I do mean - e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g - gets done and I make money.

Even though I haven't turned-over a VA in a very long time, I can add people and have them up-to-speed in ONE day - in ANY business process I have. I pay them w-a-a-y above scale because I like the people I have and want to keep them - and most don't even speak English! (Most of them make more money than all but the top earners in this forum too!)

This is a case where being as medieval as I am is old school and also - wickedly smart. My bank balances prove my application of this simple concept works every single day!

I never worry about simple jobs like the ones this app speeds up getting done or making lots of money using what is a dumb process to lots of people. It works and I don't need to fix what is as reliable as the Sun coming up tomorrow!

So, for you, this is a dumba.ss, useless tool! For me - it's magic!

You might be outsmarting yourself big guy. I don't even try or need to know everything about everything. There are tons of IFs, MIGHT HAPPENs, and "coulda, woulda, shouldas" in your post! Dam.n, are things in your world that bleak, dude?!

I barely know how to use WordPress, but have lots of sites built for me and for my clients too. In this case, being a dumbas.s makes me look super-smart to the people that write me the checks - and this is ALL I ever concern myself with ...

LOTS AND LOTS OF CHECKS and PAYPAL/MERCHANT SERVICES TRANSACTIONS!

I gotta tell ya' - Life is really tough worrying about all that shit!

Heck, I even bought WP Hyper Shift plugin and I like this better. This is easy and it takes care of everything pretty quick, so much so I'm going to buy it.. Thanks again Quarsar when I do get to the point where I can outsource my work this will come in handy.. maybe I'm wrong.. I remember how we use to make websites.. man were they ever old school cpanels but they were sooo easy to use.. I'm out, take care.. Fizz

I just watched a guy the other night selling his Google adword products and teachings and his site was old school and very simple and about a half page and that guy makes more money in a day than a lot of people make in a life time so websites.. meh, sure you need one but then again it doesn't mean your going to succeed in IM..

Actually, it's also good for local sandbox servers where you've got no "idiot" button to install WP with a click. ;-)
