This is total BS! If the thread is NOT a [GET] any more and is ONLY a paid coupon, the OP can maintain the thread properly by changing the title or moving the thread to a classified area... this is a "course for review" area and need to be SPECIFIC!

All your zig-zagging give the idiots in this area the idea that it can be whatever they want it to be - without being specific or maintaining the thread properly!
Toad, thank you for your intelligent thread. It's good to see a BBHF member who has enough respect for himself and for BBHF to call these Udemy idiots out for their B.S. It is sad to see so many BBHF members with no respect for themselves or BBHF tripping all over themselves and others like a bunch of junkies or groupies treating these Udemy instructors like rock stars when they are only wannabe internet marketers who don't have what it takes to do it on their own. Udemy is a good resource and there are good courses and good instructors but it seems that the worst of them are the ones coming to BBHf to make sock accounts and spam our forums. They're making fools of BBHF members by getting to market their crap here without having to pay for a BSO like everyone else.

As far as that "once their coupons are sold out they provide a discount code within the thread, which is allowed in the section as well" crap goes it is total B.S. Udemy is exploiting the stupid members of BBHF by creating some huge link juice through bait and switch marketing tactics. They advertise a [Get] or a [F4LT] thread only to drive traffic to their discounts so they can make money off their idiot groupie fans all over BBHF. The whole concept of F4LT was created just so Udemy could run this scam on BBHF. We never saw F4LT in titles until Udemy came along.

The correct way to do it is to make a link on the discount thread and then link to it in the F4LT thread after the free coupons run out. Only Udemy instructors are allowed to get away with such blatant marketing tactics on BBHF without having to buy a BSO or put their stuff in the self promotions section. So Udemy instructors are already getting more from BBHF than anyone else and for nothing in return. Udemy does not promise to give only BBHF free course coupons so BBHF shouldn't promise only to rip other people's courses and not Udemy's but that's what has happened. In exchange for this unprecedented generosity by BBHF Udemy should at least be expected to know and obey our forum rules.

If you want to market your stuff on BBHF you buy a BSO and post it here http://bestblackhatforum.com/Forum-BestBlackHatForum-Special-Offers-Forum

If you want to do some self promotion or some referral affiliate offers you do it here http://bestblackhatforum.com/Forum-Self-Promotion-Referral-Affiliate-Offers

If you want to post a discount to something you do it here http://bestblackhatforum.com/Forum-Coupon-Code-and-Discount-Section

If you want to post that you are giving away a free service you do it here http://bestblackhatforum.com/Forum-Free-Services-and-Giveaways

If you want to give away a free course or software you do it here http://bestblackhatforum.com/Forum-Freebies

BBHF has bent over backwards and made Udemy exempt from so many of its own rules it is simply stupid. The least Udemy could do is be respectful of those few rules left that BBHF has laid out for them to actually follow.
Yeah absolutely

what about the members who are just stealing other members old thread and posting duplicate thread for reps??

There are ten's of members in the section
who are just blindly posting duplicate thread without searching for existing thread
and whenever anyone point on these them they will be shouting like I don't have time to search for existing threads
If you don't have time for searching existing threads then what the hell are you doing in udemy section why you are posting then

Just a simple trick to find all existing threads "inverted commas enclosed with course name" and people don't have time for this.

and one of the best example of posting blindly duplicate threads is this guy

http://bestblackhatforum.com/User-irfan2011
and also what about udemy instructors who started spamming on our forum?

like example

http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-GET-How-to-Improve-Your-Business-Productivity-97-0

Continuously bumping his own thread by useless comments and again creating duplicate threads from time to time
Yes and look at all those noobs and Udemy groupies posting "thank you" and crap like that on the thread. When someone loyal to BBHF tries to say something about it the noobs and Udemy groupies try to gang up on him because he isn't acting like a Udemy groupie. These idiots are trashing BBHF but they don't care because they only care about Udemy.

A lot of leechers and noobs have figured out how to use Udemy to farm easy rep points to give the illusion that they are major contributors to BBHF to the delight of Udemy and their disrespectful idiot instructors who want to stink up BBHF with their underhanded marketing tactics.

One technique the noob leechers use to farm rep points is to post courses that are free to everyone on Udemy and claim their are F4LT even though it is specifically forbidden in the forum rules. Take a look at all of this guy's shares as proof,

but they do need to be titled properly.

2. i only saw ONE person who provided 10 coupons simply to get more buyers... but 99% of the time people share

over 500 coupons and once they are sold out, they provide a discount code within the thread, which is allowed in the section as well.

3. "If you are offering [F4LT] coupons in the [GET] for review area, you are a SPAMMER!!! and an idiot"

[F4LT] coupons are allowed in this section as long as they are actually free for LIMITED TIME.

some people here provide F4LT even though they are free forever simply because they looking for rep points,
which is not OK, but popular forums tend to have rep whores...
about point 2, I don't think that it's allowed for him to post discount offer at a comment in the thread, is it ?

Sorry for a dummies question .

But I have seen this word

F4lt

around and I cannot get Google to tell me what it means.

So what does F4lt mean?

Thanks.
F4LT means "Free for Limited Time" Wink
You can also say "Free for Lifetime" Tongue
Hahaha. 1up I like you. You're funny. But not everyone will get it.

Jut in case others don't know why here is the reason we can't say free for lifetime. Posting courses that are free to everyone is forbidden. It's rule#6. Over a year ago when this was not a rule and Udemy was not as big, I posted a grouping of about 4 free courses about computer programming that complimented each other very well. I thought they were good courses that BBHF members would appreciate. Several members told me not to do that and said it was just farming rep or something like that. If I couldn't do it when it wasn't even an official rule then why should anyone else be able to do it now that it is expressly forbidden? The answer of course is that they shouldn't and we shouldn't let them get away with it.
Posting discount offers should require paying the $35 fee for a BSO or posting it in the self promotion thread or at least posting it in the Udemy discount thread which was created entirely for the purpose of having Udemy discount coupons posted in them in the first place. Some of these idiots try to get around the rules by posting 10 free coupons in the F4LT section and then writing something like "When those are gone go here" and then posting a discount thread right below it that leads directly to their Udemy course page instead of a BBHF post in the Udemy discount section like it should. It's a marketing gimmick and their making BBHF members look like fools as BBHF members trip all over themselves and post comments BEGGING for more free coupons and then argue with each other and post comments like "Just buy it for $10" to help their disrespectful rule breaking Udemy Instructor hero make money without having to pay for a BSO like the rest of us would have to.
This is a bunch of lies dude... not sure if you're blind or simply ignorant of the facts. I have RARELY seen a single [GET] thread with 500 coupons for a review... EVER!

Why do you see so many bitching about things being over within a few minutes and few, if any are given out.

Sure, a majority are trying to pass them out, but 500? That's a total fabrication to give yourself a ppodium to stand on... get it straight!
there are TONS of instructors who provide 500 - 1000 coupons... you claim to know so much and yet YOU blatantly lie, plus they also create more coupons afterwards... maybe you didn't see these coupons because you just want to complain...

This is total BS!

a lot of members still want to get an access to a course, but don't want to pay the full price, after the instructor provides 500 coupons some give a HUGE discount for their courses (1$ or 10$ which is like 90% off), it's allowed (unless the thread was created SPECIFICALLY to sell coupons), do you expect him to provide a free UNLIMITED coupon instead?

the whole section is a udemy course promotion... the point is that ALL SIDES benefit from it , you get free access, they get reviews... unfortunately a lot of idiots here are just leechers that hoard courses which they will NEVER use... and so other people don't get access

AND...

Why is it that threads in the Udemy area NEVER have to be updated? Is that another acceptable thing?

Most other areas of this forum are maintained by the OP and closed, or updated, when it is over... every area EXCEPT the Udemy area!

that's another lie... A LOT of udemy threads are updated with new coupons, sometimes even four times...

and A LOT of threads from OTHER areas on the forum NEVER get updated... and are abandoned by their op,

"every area EXCEPT the Udemy area!" - LIE... nothing more to say here... maybe you want some proof?

the funniest part here is that most people who complain about this section are leechers who never contribute to it, they just expect to be spoon fed with free coupons of courses which they will never use...

you are welcome to send me a message once a person provides 10 free coupons only to create a discount code, that's actually disrespectful and can be dealt with...

we already closed 2 threads of a person who asked for reps and a PM to get a coupon (a person which wasn't a udemy instructor by the way)... he also got a warning.
