Yes, those video editors work the same. The important thing is the transition so that it does not look weird. Also, try to zoom in the video timing (maximum as you can) and see if there is a black scene in split seconds in the ending. You may not notice it but it does not look nice overall when you loop it. Cut it out then only paste the loop.
