Define useless - take a good look at review videos on YouTube. Videos with spoken word are becoming much more popular and successful. Big hitters of Video Marketing are using this stuff in their video sales letters, people use it in their review videos with great success..This may not have uncovered anything out of the ordinary but there are people out there that just put together power point slides and crappy text and music videos and they don't have the same effect as a real person giving a real review
on affiliate products or what ever else it is they are promoting. So I wouldn't go as far as saying it's useless..
