I looked at his strategy and it basically looks like he straddles using pending orders on negative and positive correlated currency pairs. For example going long on both E/U and U/CHF and hoping for a big breakout or trend. For those not familiar these two pairs move very closely in tandem but in opposite direction. I have heard all the arguments against straddles (bad fills, slippage, stop hunting, etc.) but never from someone who ACTUALLY has done it long term like this author.
Maybe straddle is not the exact term to use since he sets the pending orders 50 pips away but you get the idea. This is a simple trading strategy that I think many people look at and discard because it looks too easy. The criticisms usually come from people who have never tested or tried it long term with a good broker.
Could this trading method really work well long term to build your account?
