You're probably choosing the .json file inside your sleuth folder.. simply navigate to the folder from Chrome extensions, Chrome will do the rest.. don't navigate to contents inside the folder..
Could someone elaborate on this please?
Edit: I copy/pasted the sleuth folder into the extensions page. Now I have the 'Sleuth' icon visible. But when doing a search I am only seeing this page...http://search.fb.com/

Seeing this, I then uninstalled it and re-installed from the extensions page itself. Same outcome.
Edit 2: Geez...Am I dumb or what?..............all I needed to do was to login to facebook. Then use the tool. It's working fine now.
Make sure you are selecting correct folder or you will get that error from the unzip
