"I've been doing some brainstorming and realized that this is also very powerful for offline marketing. Say your implementing the OMG Day Job Killer type of work in your local market. You don't even need to tell your paying businesses about this but the data that you can receive can get very deep. I mean that there are different PACED businesses for offline marketing. Businesses that can make quick cash based on certain/extreme situations. Just thinking outloud here members so bear with me:

Plumbers, electricians, basically most trade crafts that are in Extra need during extreme weather conditions. As the webmaster you can use IFTTT, without even using the acronym at all, to close deals or leverage more money coming your way by simply setting up SMS reports directly to the Craftsmen and women. It's so simple when you think it thru and yet powerful because it really is a set it and forget it model. Maybe I'm missing something and help me if I'm wrong but almost everyone and their dog has a smartphone now so this model really works.

Now imagine a different market such as catering, limousine services, gambling/bookies, development of new apps, charities, etc. Just think through what each of these markets NEED to be profitable or Alpha in their marketplace. What RECIPES would work best? To my noob IFTTT mind the possibilities that could be offered to offline business is endless and they don't need to know all your doing is simple IFTTT.

Could even establish new sites just to accomodate data driven needs for different niches not yet being serviced. The new sites would be used in the recipes. and no I'm not high nor under the influence! LOL.

Thank you Razmataz13 for taking the time to put this valuable PDF together and sharing it here on BBHF - the darn best Forum there is. Much appreciated. Rep added
Awesome share... +5 Reps added....thanks!
This sounds awesome. IFTTT really is a great site for helping people promote content, although it is lacking in certain social media recipes that they may not have access to the API for like Google+, Pinterest and others. But, Luckily, there have been workarounds for those networks not listed. So, for this to be released is truly awesome.
You mean like setting twitter alerts for specific hashtags during natural disasters or other events? That's actually a great idea for a web and mobile app service. Good thinking, Razmataz13! Reps for the guide and the brainstorming!
There you go! Max reps. Good resource here.

YES and MUCH MORE! I brainstormed with my wife last night, after thinking about what she enjoys for pampering, about nail/beauty salons. She told me that in our area there are 5 purely high-end salons for the mani/pedi/hair/skin service. That there are 3 salons that offer less all inclusive type service but the skill of mani/pedi/hair/skin service is superior. So in my mind the 5 high-end salons offer this other sh!t, and the consumers pay it for bragging rights to their friends, yet the actual skill set is lower. Just my thought. SO I asked my wife what would sway her to going to one place or the other. She said that if she got notice of a special offer or coupon or prize winning contest or a salon that was raising money for a special need that her and her girlfriends would look into it or attend or call for more information.

So for offline marketers think about how easy it is to utilize IFTTT! My wife has no idea about it and probably wouldn't care but she does care about the atmosphere, service vs price in any salon. This creates leverage when you approach a salon or other offline business for website development. Imagine you research the company and competitors before going into the meeting. You understand what you can personally do and what you can outsource. Set your service at $595.00 USD for the intial month with a recurring $195.00 monthly. They counter with $295 initial and $95 monthly. NOW you tell them that for $495 initial and $125 monthly you'll do all the website plus the IFTTT (except you never tell them nor explain what IFTTT is)! Just explain that you can reach all their customers at a moments notice and everything else. Your just not telling them about your IFTTT recipes! Make sense? You utilize this power to draw and reach more local consumers. Think restaurants, accountants, lawyers, dentists, private practice doctors, contractors, etc.

Think about the power of them registering a giveaway for a prize or some drawing for a free something or whatever and all you need is for the business to do is collect the customers emails and phone numbers. You plug this into IFTTT and 1. Your getting an email list of targeted local consumers that you can use (subtly of course). 2 You've just leveraged the business owner into the one thing they are willing to pay for the most! Paying customers!

Now think about having 10 or more paying businesses each month????? Hmmmm???

Again if any member has read a fault in my thinking please correct but this use of IFTTT seems prudent.
