My review:
I didn't see the original 30 Minute Money Machine version 1 or whatever, so I can't comment on what's changed.
What you get with this is three videos which show you how to create and very quickly rank videos on YouTube using live events.
They suggest you can use it for launch jacking primarily, but also make a few more suggestions such as amazon product reviews (if you do this you'll need to bounce the traffic through a fake header page because promoting direct from youtube to amazon is against their TOS), they also suggested it for listbuilding.

In the course they suggest you need to use the Wirecast software that you can download via YouTube and broadcast your video that way. However, I found that the free version of Wirecast only works with webcams - you can't do screensharing. I didn't want this because a) I don't have a webcam and b) I don't like my face all over the place. So what I've done instead is to use Google Hangouts, and set up a very brief Powerpoint of the product I picked to promote, then just used screenshare through Hangouts. Worked fine.

It took me about half an hour to pick a product, make a powerpoint presentation and record the Hangout. By the time I had done recording, the video had ranked for the keyword of "product name" and "product name review", page 1 position 1 of Google UK and Google US.

The product isn't released yet so I'm not expecting a flood of traffic, and I'll be interested to see whether the ranking stays where it is or drops. If it drops off quickly, then it might work out more efficient to not release the video until the day the product drops.

Edit: Day 2 - still position 1 for both keywords on Google UK (where I am), position 1 for "product name review" on Google.com and position 2 for the product name only.

Re: Works pretty good using the launch jacking technique but I decided to try it with an already launched product with multiple videos already out there. With proper video optimization but no backlinks I have only made it to page 10 in 15 hours. With a fiverr backlink package it will probably jump to page 4 but I don't really see it having an advantage over the video professionals out there. But it should be okay for an early launch jack.
