To make a point though after the varied reviews.
Being involved in working with local businesses the things that work have changed but not as dramatically as we marketers would like to believe. The information is indeed not new however we need to remain mindful of the fact that just as there are local businesses that are behind the curve in terms of marketing, there are also new people entering into the world of marketing to these same types of businesses.
It's a perfect match between the newbies in both areas i.e. business without the basics of being successful online in place and these new marketers.
I've mentioned it in other posts on 'offline marketing" here on BBHF that people are always seeking the latest shiny approach but when they see it, their complaint is that it's unproven. When it's 'evergreen' it's then considered to be 'rehashed' material.
For anyone who tends to follow the 'crowd thinking' it's going to seem like a never ending cycle when it actually isn't. You just need to be honest with yourself about where you are in the 'food chain' and start from there and you'll start to be successful with local business marketing (provided you actually do get out and interact with real-life business owners that is).
One of the highest paying services I still offer is email marketing at $497 a month. Nothing fanciful just setup and creation of 4 emails and 1 broadcast a month. Anything outside of that attracts an additional fee. The starter package is 3 months and if the packages are charged on a sliding scale, so the more the packages they take out at the start or as they move forward the better.
This is a no-brainer but it works.
I tried offering FB packaged services but the honest truth is that it just didn't sell well, so I practically dropped it from our standard offerings.
The point I'm trying to make is that some of the things we feel are too simple are the ones that work in the real world. In regards to providing 'proof' I personally will never show anybody the inside of any of my financial or business accounts because if that's what someone needs to see before they believe I can help them, then they're not a right fit for what I do.
Can you imagine a local business owner asking to see your bank account or your Aweber account before they do business with you?
No? Neither can I, so expecting to see the inside of someone's account before you believe them is the wrong mindset to have. It'll keep you stuck in 'struggling mode' for a long time to come.
So this is probably more encouragement for anybody who is struggling to get started or get results with local business marketing. Follow your gut. Do what works. get out there and make your own mistakes and create your own successes because you're unique and you can do this stuff we call 'offline marketing' because you know a lot more about marketing than the average everyday local small to medium sized business owner.
But you've got to be marketing more than you're downloading from BH sites, that I know for sure.
Peace.

Is the three month package for multiple services or just for the email service? $497 x 3 = $1491 upfront?

Repped you for this share buddy.... very nice

My quick review:
Find clients that don't have websites and offer to create one. Charge for the site plus affiliate commissions on hosting. Hire commission salespeople to do all the selling.
Nothing new. But thanks for the share! Max reps.

I just hopped over to the WSO sales page and I can't believe the moronic questions that some ***** named "Million Dollar Man" was asking the seller...all just so as to make a decision about whether to invest with just a measly $17...
Here's his text

Sorry, but I'm not giving you my age, where I live, or any other personal details. I find those questions prying and mildly offensive.
If you're serious, my suggestion would be to lay out the 17 bucks, and if it isn't for you, I'll refund your purchase.
Kim
Hello Kim,
From your name, I'm gathering you are female. And, a good looking one (if that is your image).
No, I wasn't asking for your age. But age range. So, if you're 25, you can say 20-30 or even say middle age and so on.
Why was I asking for your age range ? To see, if you're too young to be counted as someone creditable to learn a trade from. The older, the wiser. Anyone under 25, I don't take seriously. Anyone over 65, I don't take seriously either as I don't think they'll know much about online than offline. Tend to take over 65's more seriously when they're talking about offline stuffs.
Wasn't asking for your exact street address but your country and State and city.
We don't want to make orders to somewhere full of frauds. If you're from the City then most likely you know more business than someone from the village. That's why wanted to know where you're from.
Anyway, no offense was meant.
You'd want to know who and where you're making orders too. Shouldn't trust just anyone online since you can't see their faces.
So now you know why some basic questions.
Anyway, I'm guessing you're from Usa.
So, what other products have you sold before ? Can we have a list so we can checkout if you're stuffs are good or not ?
Have you sold more on WF ? We'd like to see some ratings. That's not much to ask, is it ?
I'm not downright gonna reject your offer right now. Infact, slowly warming-up since your ad says "newbie friendly". I'm a skeptic and don't buy easily unless I know I'm getting the best and so if you manage to sell to me then you can tapp yourself at the back because you just won a hard sale.
Take care!"
I have to hand it to her, she's patient. Most people would have told him/her where to go.
I don't know who the guy or girl selling the WSO is, but I can certainly feel for them.
But all that aside, the mentality displayed by this D***H*** is why many people cannot develop a mindset that will help them start and run real businesses.
I bet he/she is a leeching noob of the highest order in many BH forums too.
