@bobmcalister,
Hey - what's up?!!
Just thought I'd chime in here to:
1. Agree w/ you about what you just said about focusing on selling this shit rather than providing the service.
Sometimes it's hard to understand that it's just best to turn some shit over to someone else to get done,
especially when you're a technically-inclined control freak (talking to myself, not necessarily you! lol)
2. RE The sub-domain: I give props to dandyrandy for answering your question about this.
Also wanted to mention that I believe you can only create ONE specifically-named subdomain for your hosting account.
In other words, if you create the subdomain "getmyleads" and attach it to "maindomain.com" (so that your new URL would be getmyleads.maindomain.com, as you have it in your example above), you would NOT be able to create another subdomain named 'getmyleads' to add to another domain you own in that hosting account.
Hope that makes sense.
Also, my personal recommendation for subdomains, based on my experience, is to use them for things like:
Scripts (ex. Analytic Call Tracker or OpenVBX, etc.),
or for sites where you control a script/service and add members who run your script thru your hosting.
MOST of the time, you may be better off using folders on your domain, ex. maindomain.com/folder.
Hope that all makes sense!
Later,
BigDaddy
