Malware-Scan?
Anyone tested this?
virustotal announced 1 suspicious file from a previous scan that matched this hash.
My personal scan shows 0.
https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/aeccb...417078942/
unzipped the 64 bit package and stored it in a tarball with no compression. rescanned
https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/7b472...417079341/
Shows 1 suspicious file by symantec
So, in conclusion, I assume the .dll file is a cracked patch. Symantec does use very lazy heuristic algorithms in their detection software so these could be false positives. But I'll be running this in a virtual machine because firstly, you can get a free copy of windows from ms download center, a free virtualbox from oracle, so there's no reason to risk infecting your host machine.
