How To Activate ?
Read This If You Have Installed Camtasia Before Installing This :

1.The online check has been updated so that modifying the hosts file no longer works.
2.Important! delete all hosts that were previously added to bypass the online check, e.g
127.0.0.1 activation.cloud.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1 oscount.techsmith.com
3.Block outgoing access to the following IP’s in your firewall:
157.56.8.159 (hostname: activation.cloud.techsmith.com)
69.167.144.18 (hostname: oscount.techsmith.com)
4.Do not un-block them since the application continuously tries to access them to validate the activation code.
5.Alternatively, If you do not wish to use the online features of the application, you can completely block the application in your firewall.

Read This If You're installing for first time :

1.Install the application.
2.Disable automatic updates via Tools\Options\Upgrade Options menu.
3.Disable user design initiative which sends anonymous data to techsmith servers, via Tools\Options\Help us improve menu.
4.To make sure its blocked you can block outgoing access to the following IP in your firewall:
157.56.8.159 (hostname: activation.cloud.techsmith.com)
69.167.144.18 (hostname: oscount.techsmith.com)
6.Use Given Keygens to register the application.

It will not work if you block the program in your firewall. You have to block specific IPs 157.56.8.159 and 69.167.144.18.
You can ignore the first error immediately after entering the key, and restart application.

Only the online features won't work if we block the whole program, otherwise it will work fine ! If you want to use online features then only block those IP and Hostnames I mentioned above !

Somebody tell me is it safe to use when it showing

Worked great in Windows 8 after specific IP block.. Used current trial download, block JUST the 2 ip addresses in Norton smart firewall, told norton to allow keygen folder, used keygen, Enter any name and generated license key...TADA!..Message shown: "Can't verify now but can use...". Now when you start the program just shows " Multi license" in about.. ..

I give you simple method to reset the time counter of camtasia. Just found and thought I should put my contribution here to this awesome forum.

Camtasia 8.4.4 (30 days counter reset method)

1) Windows + R
2) Regedit
3) HKEY_CURRENT_USER
4) SOFTWARE
5) CLASSES
6) Scroll down and Single click on "dromjmfile"
7) On right window - right click "DEFAULT"
8) MODIFY
9) DELETE THE KEY (in my pc it appears to be 7e5d0844)
10) press OK

..and you are good to go. use all the features for next 30 days ;)
