If it works for one person, there's no 100% guarantee that it WILL 100% work for another because that 'other person' may not have the same or required circumstances, work ethics, focus, motivation, resources, experience etc as the person or people it has worked for.
In other words, it's not the proverbial 'Silver bullet' that IM gurus tout in their promotional marketing to the masses.
N.B. What the gurus never say is how much they've lost, or paid to partners, affiliates etc. I've personally sold products to the tune of six figures before and still only made profit in the 4 figure range.

Absolutely, who is going to include those stats in their marketing?
