Interesting!
This is the first thing I have bought from Ray in about 6 months. He was a decent marketing guy and does know video. He was one of the first guys I know that understood how to apply and use lower thirds and clickable images in videos.
One thing I definitely agree with is you need to get off his list fast. I got off of it about the same time I bought from him the last time. He sends no fewer than 2 offers a day and as many as 5-6 a day. He promotes everything and everyone. He's become just another affiliate whore.
He used to be really good and did lots of teaching in his emails. I guess his customer service has fallen to shit too. I don't know about that part because I have never spent more than $10 at a time with him, so I've never asked for a refund. All I bought was consumable bullshit from him - buttons, graphics, and audio tracks.
But this is becoming the beginning of the end for lots of alleged marketing "aces." I just cut Dr. Amit off for similar reasons. One other laughable IMer is Joshua Zamora, and he claims he will make seven figures in 2015. Yeah, right - only in his wildest fantasies or dreams!
His products are nowhere near good enough to knock those kind of dollars down - a prime example is his latest Article Spinner I bought about 2 weeks ago and that sucks big time!
But there are lots of these guys falling into that negative customer service image trap. Most are ball-and-chain marketers like Ray and Andy who have never really learned to offload that negative bullshit. I guess Ray is still trying to do all the grunt shit in his business himself - like he always has.
Doing everything in your business is a guaranteed recipe for world class burnout - no one is that tough or that good.
Oh well, this leaves lots of room for people that do give a shit about customer service and have decent products too. One door closes and another one opens. Opportunity is knocking - loudly!
I predict many of these guys that everyone knows now will start dropping-off and dying like flies in 2015-2016.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised about Ray, Andy and others like them. If you don't plan to outsource from the beginning - then make sure you do it - you won't last. Ray has done it longer than most.
R.I.P. Andy and Ray!
