I quit smoking and drinking - after 30 years of hell raising, fun, pussy and extreme abuse to my liver and lungs.

I did it the exact opposite of what all the programs tell you. I did it slowly, slacking off on both for 3 years and then once a month a few beers and cigs on one night. Now I'm up to 4 months and then only have 2-3 beers and 1-2 cigs. I NEVER crave any more!

It's called FORTITUDE and PERSEVERANCE! It worked for me... but I'd never recommend this method to anyone.

Hi Christopher, does the Udemy course work with any bad habits or just smoking? Interested...this may help a lot of people with different cravings.
Only way to quit is cold turkey + replacement. First 7-14 Days are the hardest, but it's all a whole lot simpler if you use replacement. Every time you get the urge to smoke, chew a piece of gum - it replaces the physical aspect "hand to mouth" and the drag aspect "chewing" - which is more than half the battle. It's also why non-nicotine based vaping works (Not the E-cigs - those still have nicotine) - but vaping still has the same exact action associated - which means you still may run out to the store to grab a pack when your battery goes. A friend of mine got right back into smoking after 4 years when he tried vaping - brought all the habit back.

First, sorry for my english, I'm not a native speaker :)

I've smoken 20 years and I've quit since 2 years. No secret to stop smoking :

1- You must really have the desire to stop,

2- Don't listen people who try to discourage you. They discourage you because they fail to stop or because they have interests such as doctors who are "friends" with laboratories that sell pills. Top smoking it's not hard, it's not a drug (nicotin is a poison and your body can "clean" it in 48hours-1 week, yes it's true), etc... It's just a habit of putting hand to mouth 200 times a day ! It's just a stupid habit like "eat nails" (I think it's not the right word but you understand :)).

Pills and others tricks are just shit... The only thing you must have, it's to believe in yourself and your desire to be fit :)

Don't listen "experts",stop smoking now, believe, you are close to freedom ;)
