As i'm planning to create my first campaign based on this guys' tips I would like to ask you if anyone has had any success with banner ads to create targeted traffic to his affiliate products...
Should I expect any earnings?

In a word--- YES!

I've been applying this same kind of concept in 2 different niches for the last 3 years. It works, but there is a learning curve. I devoted more than 30 hours a week to this (late at night) for the first 4 months. I was serious. I recommend the same to anyone who tries this. Otherwise, you will experience all the losses without lasting long enough to get to the profits, which are DEFINITELY there to be had!

After 1 month, I spent a total of $400 and got back $260. The learning process is always there. Can't get around it. [Didn't walk until I was 18 months either. Watched everybody else do it and just got up and walked.]

Anyway-- after spending $940 the second month testing banners, I got back $1475. I was afraid that I was just lucky. Fortunately, I wasn't.

After the third month I got a bit more brave, spent $1500 in advertising- made a profit of $3250. That was more like it.


It can be made as big as you are willing to go for. But, there is definitely work involved. And cool shortcuts that you will learn along the way.

The process ends up teaching you exactly what you need to learn.

It's like my signature below: We learn from life's losses much better than the gains.
