Hi guys,
I actually wanted to get this software too but thought surely it couldn't be hard embedding a video on youtube listings wouldn't it? So I did a quick search and found that it's as easy as embedding a video from youtube to your website. So here's a quick step-by-step info on how to do it:
*********
Embedding a Video in an eBay Listing
To embed a video in your eBay listing(s), simply follow these steps:
1. Record a video of your item. Record your video in a clean, well-lit area where your device looks its best and where you can represent yourself as a professional. Describe the item as you show it to the camera, give multiple views and show it in operation if possible, and be sure to speak calmly and clearly.
2. Post your video to a video sharing site. YouTube is the obvious suspect since it’s free, eBay supports it, and so many use it, but any of the video sites you can embed a code is fine.
3. Copy the embed code for your video. On YouTube, this is done by clicking the "Embed" button on the page for your video, clicking your mouse in the box that appears, and then typing CTRL-A followed by CTRL-C.
4. Post an eBay listing. Use the item listing form to begin your eBay listing and fill it out as you normally would, until you reach the item description area.
5. Paste the embed code into your item description using HTML. Enter your item description as you normally would, but before moving on, click the "HTML" tab over the description editor to switch to the HTML view. Move your mouse cursor to the very end of the code already there and hit CTRL-V the embed code for your video.
Finish your item listing and post it. When your listing is complete, you’ll find that the video you recorded is embedded in your item description, so that bidders and buyers can easily click and play.
*********
That is pretty much it folks. These guys that create these softwares just makes softwares for lazy people who don't or can't follow a simple step-by-step formula for doing what they want to do online. They make it nice and shiny and make it look like it's the best thing since sliced bread and package it all into a neat looking software. But really, the whole purpose of that software is the 5-step procedures I found online.
I don't know how to create bots but for someone that can create one, it would be pretty simple and easy to do/copy.
I also saw the link to sign up for Easy Web Video for 30 days and after that it's pretty steep at $57/month. I say save your money folks and spend it on your family or yourself or better yet something worthwhile.
Hope this helps. Just my 2 cents.
cheers,

will embed a video on your posting be against eBay Terms ?

Hey Fresh thanks for the info. By the way I could be wrong but I believe the normal version of Easy Web Video is the one that has the monthly fee. This is just the eBay edition and is a one time fee. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of EWV.

One more f*cking newbie that cannot read, does not "get" what this offer is, what it does OR even knows the correct pricing!
Get your facts straight if you're going to act like you know something as.swipe!
Bad information from an as.shole speculator is worse than NO information!
None of this software has a f*cking thing to do with YouTube! In fact, it is ANTI-YOUTUBE!
And the info you posted about embedding a video is free and on about 200 sites. Da.mn near every eBay wannabe knows this crap! All you have to do is type "embed a video in eBay listing" into Google!
It ain't rocket science!
You can embed anything you want in an eBay listing as long as it isn't a copyrighted piece of copy, image, pic or video. It benefits them because they don't have to host your f*cking images, so why would they object?!
This software and the entire system is about using AMAZON to host your videos NOT YouTube!
It is totally cool software and I have both the web video and eBay versions of these programs. If you don't have the coin to buy this, then don't!
The real magic happens with this online NOT with the desktop software. You can seamlessly post to eBay with clean images and videos - ALL of which have a play icon embedded - even the static images! This makes it uber-cool all by itself.
And drives conversions NUTS! I know because I have tested the platform already. Up against f*cked-up YT videos, these totally dominate and rock!
If you had read ALL the sales copy and watched ALL the videos - instead of inventing crap to make yourself sound good - you would know this!
I bought lifetime access to both apps for less than $50 - that is sooo f*cking cheap for what these programs do. And Amazon videos play faster and cleaner. The only recurring expense is for Amazon usage, which is pennies for the size of the return.
My only regret is that Todd Gross is one of the players profiting from this, and he's a total f*cking as.shole!
Like anything related to making money online, you can be a cheap "never going to pay for shit" mo.ron or you can be a player. Guess which one makes the bucks?!
As for your post, it's a shame I can't give negative reps because it is almost entirely bullshit!
Buy this or don't buy it - I don't give a shit!
But know that you have to have the desktop software PLUS online access to their site so you can create and post your listings STRAIGHT TO EBAY - which is also the BOMB!
So - in other words - you CANNOT f*cking steal this one Noobs!
Even if you can get the desktop software to work, you still have to have real-time access to their site, and both Amazon and eBay accounts. The desktop software is the lesser part of this solution.
This is worth every penny to me if for no other reason than I can bust every competitor's ass that is using embedded YouTube videos!

Just thought all that were interested in this should know that I just got an email saying Video for Ebay is going down 25% from 24.95 to 17.95 at midnight for the final 24 hours of the sale.

To Quasar (the f*cking i.diot!),
Wowwwww! Got so much hate buddy! Did your parents drop you on your head when you were born or something? I could imagine you as a 14-year old behind that computer typing away thinking your top sh!t. Like you're "All That And a Bag of Chips"!
If I was your father and with an attitude like that, I would kick you so far up your @ss you'd be sh!tt!ng shoe laces!
Just because you've been in BBHF far longer than I have with a lot of reps doesn't give you the right to talk to me like that. Nor does it give you any right to talk the way you do to other people as well. We are all equals here boy, online and offline.
Do you have the Napoleon (little man) syndrome, or something? You probably don't even know what that means...
I guarantee you, if we were face to face - you wouldn't be acting like you're top sh!t. If you did, all you would see is a blur of roundhouse kick to your head without you even finishing your first sentence. And if we were face to face, I guarantee you I would talk to you the same as I am writing here now.
I mean seriously, can you imagine yourself listening in someones conversation suddenly jumping in cursing the moment you heard somebody make a mistake or utter an error?
You've got to be kidding me?
You're a f*cking i.diot!
Haven't your parents taught you the right manners?
Have I mentioned, you're a f*cking i.diot?
Oh! Yes I did.
You know what, I would like to meet you some day and put you in your place.
It is hostile people like you that makes this place unwelcoming to not only the new people but even the existing ones as well.
Yes, I am well aware of EWV (full edition). Yes, I am well aware of the ebay version as well as the prices for both. But just because I did not mention the ebay version does not mean I don't know what I'm talking about nor does it mean that I haven't read the post fully. Everyone here can read the posts on this thread and don't need to be hand holded all the way, explaining that this version is this much and the other version is this much. If they didn't, then each to their own.
It still doesn't give you the right to jump in (like a little kid in tantrum) assuming that the post haven't been read properly. That's not how you deal with people boy! You've quickly made an assumption without finding out the facts first - and fully believed that what you said was right.
(By the way, I know that BBHF don't let you give negative reps... but don't worry about it... because in exchange I gave you reps instead - for being a f*cking i.diot!)
All I wanted to do was to help others, which is what this forum is for - isn't it? If it was incorrect, then I think you could've handled it better. It isn't what you said that I was ticked off about - it's in the way you delivered it and the way you handled yourself.
Anyway, I will leave it here and continue no more. Hope everyone here has a better day/night.
regards,
fresh
