Ok, guys, here's my take on this...

...I pity anyone who has actually paid good money for this and expects it to churn out videos automatically all day long. Because, basically, it needs a lot (and I mean A LOT) of editing to make videos that make any sort of sense to the viewer.

For a start it relies on picking up articles from RSS feeds as far as I can see. Most of these are found using the keyword, of course, but that doesn't mean they make good slide videos. Often the articles are off the point. If you're lucky you might just find one that is editable.

Then the article loads as one big block of text into the slide maker. I haven't read the instructions, yet, but, depending on the template you've chosen, it breaks up sentences based on whether the text will fit the slide, not whether the phrase makes any sense. So you're likely to end up with broken phrases such as:

Slide 1: Affiliate Marketing is
Slide 2: gaining popularity day
Slide 3: by day because
Slide 4: of the increasing

in other words each slide just looks stupid on its own and doesn't read well. There are a few other templates which have smaller text sizes and hold paragraphs on a slide (that are like the one used in the demo on the sales page) but the para breakup is equally naff like this:

Slide 1: What is Affiliate Marketing? What you
Slide 2: Should Know Affiliate Marketing is gaining popularity day by day
the increasing consciousness of the masses about it. Merchants
as well as the affiliates have realized affiliate marketing

proves beneficial for both of them. Affiliate marketing
gives the merchant the opportunity to advertise their

Slide 3: Products at a low cost

while the affiliates find affiliate marketing
as an easy way to earn money online
and that by doing something that

could enjoy

As you can see it ignores paragraph breaks, capitalizes letters at the beginning of slides unnecessarily and is a mess to read on screen.

I couldn't find a way to edit the text size. It seems dictated by the template and varies from slide to slide depending on the animation.

You can edit the slides individually in a pop up editor. But if you're going to do that you might just as well make a Powerpoint and have control of your own animation!

For some reason I thought it was going to go and get images off the 'net. But all I got on my version 2 (mac) was a Browse button for images on my hard drive. Again, I might as well add those to a Powerpoint/Keynote.

But, worst of all, are the voices that read this garbled text. You'll have heard the pretty awful voice in the sales video. Well the others are worse. Simon (UK) that I tried sounds like Stephen Hawking!

You'll have gathered that I think this software is pretty useless for the purpose for which it is meant (creating quick marketing videos for utube etc.) The videos it makes are not entertaining and certainly won't do a good selling job or present your 'brand' in a professional manner.

IMO you're better off using VideoMakerFX which is also available on this esteemed forum.
Max rep for the Review - I think I will stay with video maker fx
Yeah, this program can be pretty d*** confusing the first couple times you use it!
I watched a couple of the tutorial videos, but couldn't help falling asleep numerous times.

So I did my best to figure this out on my own,
which is often the best way to truly learn something, imho.

Here's what I found out. Take it for what it's worth...

Those extra ZIP files that we got from the Template Club?
(The ones titled "Arrows.zip," "BG.zip," "BG_Metal.zip," "Bullets.zip," etc.)
Those are all EXTRA GRAPHICS that you can use for YOUR IMAGES in the videos you produce.
As I see it, you DO NOT add them to the product.

The files titled "Alchemy-Redirect" and "Alchemy-Translate" are WordPress PLUGINS,
designed to TRANSLATE the text on a page of your site from one language to another,
then REDIRECT a visitor who lands on a page to the correct language for their viewing experience.
(i.e. Give a Japanese visitor a page in Japanese and a Spanish visitor a Spanish page, etc.)

TUBEHOUND and VIDEO MARKETER Folders:
These are programs designed to do something. I haven't taken a look at them yet, so I don't know yet.
I have a hunch they have something to do with VIDEO! (duh lol)

HERE'S HOW TO USE THE PROGRAM:

1. Start the program, then...
2: TEMPLATE SECTION.
Pick a Template and Niche from one that you see. You can preview them first. Understand that this is a model of what your video will eventually look like.
At the bottom, name your project and click the red 'Save Project' button.
3: Click the "Article's" Tab at the top. (Should be "Articles" but the creator/coder of this software doesn't know how to properly use a freakin' apostrophe).

4. CONTENT SECTION.
Choose the way you want to enter the content by clicking the appropriate button.
a. You can search for it online - Enter your keyword to search for it.
b. You can enter a URL for it.
c. If you already have some, just paste it in.

5. After you confirm the article you want to use (you'll be able to preview it first),
click the 'Save Article' button on the lower right. Confirm.
6. Now, quickly SPIN the article up to three more times, which will create 3 more versions of this content for you!
The spins I saw weren't too-too bad. They're still readable and understandable, even if they're not exactly written in the way most people talk (unless they're trying to impress you with their extensive vocabulary, and who does that these days?)

SERIOUS ADVICE + How to Change the Text From ANY of the Articles:
Click the 'Edit Template' button and fix the text to be how you want it to read.
NOTE: Click on the 'Slide -1,' 'Slide - 2,' etc. Go thru ALL the slides.
Do you see how there may be breaks of the text from 1 to 2? (You'll see what I mean when you see it)
Yeah - those are BREAKS in the READING, so you need to FIX that if you want to have
the narration match the text properly.
Don't understand? It's ok. Just make your first video or two. You'll get it.

7. Next, click the 'Add Media' button.
a. AUDIO SECTION (VOICE and MUSIC).
Here's where the real fun begins. The potential confusion, too.
IN this section, you'll add the LANGUAGE you want to use for the narration,
the VOICE and ACCENT of the 'READER',
and the EFFECT and LEVEL of the voice. (play with it)
You'll also select the MUSIC BACKGROUND you want to use.

NOTE: They've also wisely allowed you to toggle either the VOICE and/or the MUSIC to 'NONE' if you don't want to use either/or/both.

So make your choices (might take you a few tries to get it just the way you want the first time or two you use this tool).
NOTE: You can also preview any of the versions you've done so far (original or spun). You just won't have the voice in there yet, because that takes some serious coding to render.

b. Click the 'Images' tab (under the main tabs at the top of the window).
IMAGES SECTION.
The first couple times I used the software, this confused the shit out of me.
Basically, you'll see some images here. These are the images that were pre-loaded into the video template and will appear during your video.
To Change Them: Just click on the image you want to change, then browse your computer for the appropriate image you want to put there instead.
When done, click the 'Style' tab at the top of this window.
c. STYLE SECTION.
Here's where you can choose things like: Background color, text color and what kind of font you want to use.
Your preview window will instantly update your changes so you can see.

8. Click the red 'Save Project' button.
9. Ready to finally see your freakin' videos? Great! Click the 'Encode Videos' button!
This will bring up a window, where you'll need to choose a destination folder location for where you want to render your video(s).
So browse for one by clicking on the red button,
then choose the format you want them to be, either MP4 or AVI.
Then hit the 'Encode' button!
10. ...And Wait. For a LONG time. I suggest you go grab a beer, or brew a freakin' pot of coffee, 'cause this might take a while. Seriously. I have a powerful PC and it still took some time to render.
The good news is that if you don't want to wait, you can click the 'Cancel' button on the extra 'spun' videos.

11. When you wake up from your nap, go to the folder where you chose to render the videos. Open it up and watch your new creation! Yay!

12. PROJECTS TAB.
This is where your saved projects will be.

13. SUBMISSION ENGINE TAB.
If you're using the upgraded version here, you'll be able to upload your videos to YouTube w/ this part.
Sorry, I'm done w/ my tutorial. I'm sure if you've come this far, you can figure this part out.

Hope this helps. Please show some love by hitting the 'Thanks' button if you please!

Later,
BD

P.S. I don't know what you guys mean when you say you still need the YouTube Submission version!
It's right here already! At least, I see it that way - the 'va_midpc1' file that I used had it in there.
To confirm: If you see the 'Submission Engine' tab in your VA window, you're good.
To use it: Click on the 'Projects' tab, and if you have a saved project in there, click on the 'Submit Project' link.
A window will pop up that lets you edit all your shit.
To add your YT Credentials: Click the Cog Settings button and authenticate your Google Account and you should be good!
Thanks bigdaddy, excellent instructions. And rep to you for them.

But my point is...
...why bother with all this?

Try this instead:

Yes, this software is a big disappointment. Voices are horrible. And you can't control the length of your script in each slide.
Actually, you CAN control the length of your script in the slide...
If you read my painstakinly-written instructions above and have the patience to go thru it a bit,
you'll see that the way to control the length of the script is to click on the 'edit template' after you've loaded your script.

But I kinda do agree w/ you that this is a bit of a disappointment.
It's functional, and if you have patience (again), you might be able to do some stuff w/ it.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take another look at MisterY's Auto Video Creator suggestion.
I may have actually downloaded that before (hmmmmmm....)
