Not long ago this was my story. After busting my hump to build a list because that's what everyone said to do, life was going to get real good real fast, right?
WRONG!
Those first months were miserable. Promotion after promotion and barely a sale. This wasn't the plan, no sir.
So I went out and bought and studied pretty much every course I could get my hands on that dealt with increasing conversions and sales with email marketing.
And simplified it into a fast, repeatable process.
I've seen this on another forum and got it there and reviewed it. In a nutshell, the product is more of a reminder not to over-complicate how you market through email and video.
Many will say that it's 'rehash' but that's where the same 'most people' have a problem with making money online. If you're always seeking something that's totally new, untried and untested you're simply suffering from the 'shiny object sickness.'
He advises you to use subject lines wrapped in brackets to draw the reader's attention [ ]. He also recommends that you either appear in your video or at least communicate through video using your natural voice for better results. The reason is that you'll build trust with the person on the other end, and that's true.
If you don't want to do a talking head video he says that's okay too.
Lastly, he says to speak and communicate like you're talking to a friend. I support him on that. Hopefully can see from my own writing of this review that it's effective. I'm writing like you and I were having a discussion about this product. That's how I write and that's how I make 6 figures (a little over $200,000 a year to be precise) from my various products and services, and I'm not linked to ANY big named marketer - infact, I stay away from all of them because it's hard to find someone that's straight up and honest, and many of them shunned me when I got started in 2005/6.
All in all like I mentioned at the start, this is simple, evergreen advice on how to keep your communications and marketing simple to be effective.
I agree with you. There are too many members of this forum ready to shoot anything down that doesn't reveal some clever 'secret'!
What you realise, when you've been in the mmo niche for a long time is that everything is a rehash of the same system. Because it's a system that works over and over again.
What makes a good product then? In one word - presentation.
Getting the message across is key. Writing a good sales letter is essential. Get those two right and you can make money with info products.
