Hello,
My first share here.
For the seasoned offline marketer (or seasoned WSO consumer) the crux of this offline lead gen method is this:
- Select ideal prospects.
- Create custom reports providing a couple of actionable tips.
- Include a "Dollar Bill Letter" enticing them to call you, include the 1 client in your industry in your area angle.
- Book those that call into a consultative sales "Strategy Session", consult...close...bill them.
- Follow up with those that don't call.
That's reasonably straight-forward and not entirely new but it has worked surprisingly well for people.
Haters are gonna hate it regardless but for someone new or struggling to get traction...might be the ticket.
The twist, give them a couple of examples from their competitors in the report and offer them the complete reports of all their competitors if they call and book a session - some reasonably useful market intelligence which they could and should get for themselves...but won't...just like I don't get my cholesterol checked.
The WSO sales page is suitably over the top ...depending on your point of view...at any rate...as presented sounds like a crazy good story but if you've been around the corporate / business world for a while you probably know that six figures here and seven figures there in revenue ain't always "the dream" some people think.
Anyway...for those who genuinely want to have a look at this one and might be a little stuck then something in here might be useful to you...
For some reason there's sometimes a strange level of resistance to this approach but works, and it beats my "cheap" Facebook ads and other low cost methods pushed into a AR sequence in terms of cost per client acquisition and speed...at least within a 30 day window...and I'm usually in a hurry.
