Yes, I think they have the exact same functionality. The $57 version is for the benefit of more blackhat oriented users and I bet the owner has been making a substantial amount of money from that version as well (in addition to the retail priced version).

This is just my personal opinion and what I gather from hear-say, not that I personally own Scrapebox. Please get someone else's input before committing to any purchase based solely on my opinion.

I don't need the list. I have Scrapebox, but haven't gotten around to using it, but here is a good guide that will tell you a lot about it.
