Hiraveer, thanks for this, but I would think you have been around long enough to know what would happen if you asked people not to change the password. You are just reminding them that they can do that! :)

In this case the only sensible thing to do is download the contents and put them up on a share somewhere. If it is an online service like some graphics tools, I would just keep it for my own and close friends use and not tell anyone else. There is no way you can share it with out them screwing you over, unless it is a close friend.
