I can confirm that the S3 bucket is definitely still working. If you don't know how to rip from an S3 bucket (and I didn't) search the forum for "NonConformer's S3 Bucket Download Methods". I followed his (as usual) precise instructions and was able to get access to the materials within :60. Thanks to the OP here and to NonConformer.

For those of you still puzzled by buckets, and don't have a downloader like S3 Ripper, you can see the entire bucket as an xml document by using the convention bucketname.s3.amazonaws.com in the url line of your browser.
Just scroll down to find the appropriate file you want, then add it to the full bucket name...
For example, my-great-file.pdf would be bucketname.s3.amazonaws.com/my-great-file.pdf in the url line of the browser. Note the xml file will also show several levels down from the root of the bucket. Don't forget the / between the bucketname and the filename.
Once you get used to it, you can scan down an xml file looking for pdf, mp3, mp4 of flv files (or use the browser find function) to see if there's anything interesting there.
Please note that the bucket noted has over 10.5 GB of downloadable files, so it will take a bit of time to download it all if you are so inclined.
Unlike this vendor, many vendors get lazy naming their s3 buckets, so going to something like vendorname.s3.amazonaws.com can sometimes be interesting.
OK. I couldn't find a downloadable version of s3 ripper. But I have found this little web script:
Code:
http://www.internetgeeks.org/online-tools/amazon-s3-ripper-online-tool/
Insert the bucket address there:
Code:
http://12pr0t3ct3dqp53950i9u8.s3.amazonaws.com/
^Exactly as above with http:// at the beginning and the / at the end.
Then you'll get a bunch of url's to the files. And copy-paste them to your fav downloader. And you can download the full course. As far as I can tell, there is more than the "spy escape" course in this bucket...
Now if I could also find a way to preserve the folder structure while downloading... :P
I did find a way to download while preserving folder structure (wget -x ).
This bucket is HUGE. I've been downloading for a couple of hours now, already downloaded like 20GB of stuff, and still, I'm barely halfway through the file list.
unique share, thank for the post
