I too work "offline" and have read up a lot on the 9x12 - which yes to me also seems like it might be hard to "fill"...given that I actually work "offline" with real life busy, crazy, biz owners...getting them to give you their graphics, make up their mind, (and pay) can be hard.
However, though it is not my primary moneymaker, I do have a deal with a local WHOLESALE printer, I do referrals and also sell, design printed materials for my clients and get paid for the printing by him. It works out well... IMHO anyone doing offline work might benefit from finding a good printer. Find one who does not conflict - like they don't do webdesign, seo, social media etc...and you can cross refer.
I have actually put together a couple "co-op" ads, flyers, for 2 different shopping centers and one for a "biz networking" group (that was a headache haha). I am anxious to check out your co-op and MP3 ideas.

After going through the contractors course, I can attest that he knows his stuff. It's most of the stuff I did when I worked in window sales years ago.
