Love exercise of all type, the outdoors, camping, fishing but lifting weights is my go to form of active meditation and clarity. No matter how lethargic I feel, just give me 2-5 minutes in my home gym and I have a new lease on life. This book is from 2006 and it ROCKS HARD discussing; Training principals, stress factors, optimal training model, exercise selection, different workout levels, advanced techniques, recovery, performance supplementation, monitoring your progress and in the Addendum - "How to Gain 4 pounds of Muscle in 10 days". One of the few guys that really know what they preach.
