This post is just me letting off a lot of steam and hoping that someone on here has managed to overcome the problem explained below and can also advise me how to get past it too?
I've just recently setup a Twitter account for a new venture I'm working on and I've been waiting for the Twitter confirmation email to come through now for well over 2 weeks. Whilst waiting for what feels like an eternity, I have tried multiple different email accounts and clicked the resend yellow nag box (seen at the top of my screen when logged in) on countless ocassions with no joy! The emails are not arriving in my junk folders either, so I can only assume they're not being sent by Twitter in the first place. I've contacted their support explaining all this, which up to now seems about as reliable as a chocolate fire guard (I've had no replies from them!) Nice one Twitter, great customer service you got there!
(Come on Twitter! You're a multi billion dollar business and you can't even send out a measly confirmation email. WTF?)
Anyway, here's the deal...Even though I have this shiny new Twitter account for my new venture, I can't really do sweet FA with it because I need to click this f***ing confirmation email (that isn't being sent) before I can start using all Twitters features...LOL! What a f***ing joke! Talk about a catch 22 situation!
Before posting here, I did a Google search on this and it seems this is a BIG problem with Twitter recently as there are a number of people in exaclty the same rut as I am.
So, has anyone elso on here experienced this recently and if so, how did you manage to get past this impossible hurdle?
