my personal opinion is that solos, if you are to make money from them, should be integrated into your current business. it is difficult to make money out of the gate without a large, quality list. many will have you believe that if you just buy clicks, build your list, and you will be making money in no time. not my experience.
if however, you have a decent sized list, there are tons of FB groups of hunger solo buyers.
hope this helps.

Yes - it does. Thanks,My take is that its the same, lame emails being passed back and forth again and again.
And , like the rest of the IM world - its the sellers that make the money - not the buyers.

you need a list of around 5k before one can even consider selling a solo. but if you had a list of 5k in a niche, why would you even consider letting people borrow that list for solo ads when you can make the same amount or more from advertising your own products or promoting affiliate offers?
people who sell solos are ruining their list and they have to constantly be buying solos to keep up with the unsubscribes. your working more for less money.
people usually sell solos to make up for their costs in buying solos or other traffic but if you create your funnel right, usually you can build up a list for free after you test and tweak.
so my advice is concentrating on building a list through solos and other traffic sources but not personally selling solos. keep your list to yourself.
I was in solo ad biz.
I was part of this membership site. $27 via WF WSO.
But, I chose to quit this model.
Why?
Too much cheating going around.
Cheating your list. Cheating your buyer. Once you managed to make a solo ad sale, you need to deliver the clicks. In order to do so, you need to get your list to click. So, you need to exercise your creative juice to entice your list to click on your email link. Wonder why most solo ad seller demand that they use their copy and not the buyer's copy?
They will always say that they reserve the right to use their own copy as yours aren't optimized to get the list to click. What they fail to mention is that they will try to spew all sorts of lies in their mails that go out to "cheat" their list to click. Sometimes, these lies aren't relevant to your offer. But, it doesn't matter because they are selling clicks, not selling optins. Once the list click on the link, they would have delivered the clicks buyer pay for. So, if the clicks don't convert, it's the buyers fault and not the solo seller fault.
I can't get past my conscience to make these money scamming my list and my solo ad buyers. So, I chose to end this business as my list got to 20k. Money invested. Money wasted. But, at least I sleep well at night.
