crescent70 - You're growing slowly but there's growth. How? First it's obvious to me the title of this thread grabbed your attention causing an involuntary click of the link to see what's up. You were hoping. Hoping against all other hope this would be the one. The method, technique, tutorial that would launch you into actually taking action and making some money online. It would sing to you in a manner you'd be able to follow along.
Reality began to sink in when you read the replies. Yet you STILL want to see this course for yourself. Don't you? That's the power of hope and hope is a good thing. But hope won't put money in your account. Neither will allowing yourself to be lead along chasing these fancy, provocative product titles.
This growth of yours comes from experience. Look at the amount of disappointment and discouragement in the internet marketing industry and you see negative attributes leading to the high attrition rate. You're finally beginning to realize that so much of this is garbage.
Ever heard the phrase, "mired in stalemate"? Walter Cronkite said this on national television in 1968 concerning the United States of America's involvement in the Vietnam War. His "mired in stalemate" provided everyone watching a moment of clarity - - USA would never outright win this war. Never. It could go on indefinitely.
Many potential, hopeful, wanna be internet marketers are "mired in stalemate". The stalemate is within themselves. Fueled by these many ridiculous products preying on naivety and ones hope. That's the hook and bait. Then you look inside only to find cotton candy fluff. Oh well you say to yourself ... let's keep looking! Am I Right? I know I'm right crescent70.
crescent70 how does someone begin making money online? What would you tell them? Here's my 2 cents worth of advice to you and anyone else reading.
1- identify a broad niche. G00gle that broad term and ACTUALLY look into that realm! Look at the websites, blogs, forums, everywhere. Get a good ole' fashioned lay of the land.
2- identify a buyers market within that niche. This is you drilling down into the niche.
- you g00gle DOGS.
- then you find and read about DOG COLLARS. Why? Because in this example it caught my attention.
- then you begin to read and notice all the different DOG COLLARS because of all the different dog breeds.
- you go to Azon and are overwhelmed by all the choices. Congratulations crescent70 you now have achieved a buyers mindset. This is hugely advantageous.
- maybe a friend of yours has a teacup chihuahua. You identify collars for sale. Look at all the selections. How do I know if they're any good and how do I define what's good or not?
- So you're smart. You sort by best sellers and most reviews.
- You want to find all the negative comments listing problems, issues, complaints, etc, etc, etc... VERY IMPORTANT - this is prime real estate for all future material. Always be on the hunt for this material and THEN hunting down solutions - - reworking it into your own words. Just deal with that fact and get good at it! Stop Pandering to your own negative self-talk of "I CAN'T". Work the problem and crush it out of your thoughts forever.
crescent70 this is powerful insight, rich material - - - Not only does the breed of the dog influence the buying of a dog collar but also... the persons buying preferences. Do you understand so far? The dogs do not have purchase power. The owners of the dogs have the purchase power. Yet the owners of the dogs are swayed by the dogs themselves, swayed by peer pressure, conformity or not, all purchasing influences. IT GETS PERSONAL FOR THEM - so you better take the time to understand your buyers market !!!
3- learn the problems, issues, complaints concerning that buyers markets. Develop avatars by understanding your buyers market demographics. (hint- it's ever evolving, dynamic with time marching forward so keep your finger on the pulse of your market. Their hungry for solutions and related information.)
4- Now you have ammunition to begin writing small cheat sheets, PDFs that are valueable to THAT and ONLY THAT buyers market. Use this to capture emails and begin your list.
5- YOU go out and find valuable solutions for them in the form of products. Nothing complex at this stage. Be helpful by providing value. Learn to give and give and give some more but you'll have reviewed quality products you can begin to offer them too.
