Not much detail is available about hosting plan, You are requested to do your own research before signup.

Buddy please follow the link posted on 1st post, you will need to submit the domain name you are looking to register, and fill a form with your name, identity card details (to prove you are from India), thats it, you will get the same if your application gets approved.
I have personally not applied for this so I am not sure whether there is any additional step.
Maybe geneous can share more details, once his account is activated.

registered yesterday night.... got an email this morning asking for the scanned copy of my PAN card to verify details.... 3 day time else account gets terminated
Still i have not recv any emails from HG .. Will update once i got something from them ..

I got call from them , And you can only use single .in domain and no script can be installed , not even wordpress . Only they will give you website builder . So you have to use that only to make website .
Good deals for them who does have HG exp .

This site has been started 2 years back.. You can't get .com domain. Only .in domains are free for first year with PAn card
