I'm not going to get involved in the personal dispute between you guys, but here's what I will suggest in the future to help prevent this type of problem. And this goes for everyone no matter what you are offering.

Include the terms of your offer in your thread including refunds/support/disputes. It will prevent situations like this from arising. If you are not willing to refund, state that. If you will compensate in another way if something falls through, state that as well.

If you need help with that - Look at the group buy template and rules that are stickied at the top of the GB forum for ideas.

Hope you guys work it out "amicably" and everyone can move on to building their empires and "helping" each other out.

BBHFMarketer, if it were me, I would just refund the 10 bucks, but that is your decision. We're all here to help each other and that's how I and many others see this forum. We all gotta watch each others back.

@NonConformer - I was under the impression that BBHF would at least do "something" regarding a member who offers services, but then doesn't deliver and takes other members money without any merit. This is straight up stealing.

Again, as you already know, this was not a group buy, but a service rendered by someone who could not deliver. I have all the evidence to back up all claims on my side. I really feel like justice has not been served here. This is not a fair and just conclusion.

I'll definitely be more careful in the future about purchasing items/services from other members on this forum, since anything goes.

This isn't a court. The forum admins or mods do not get involved with personal disputes.

If he doesn't want to give you the ten bucks back, my advice to you would be to not deal with him anymore.

If you can show us a member who is blatantly ripping people off, we'll look into it. List the threads, PM them to me or open a support thread with exact details. As for this particular incident. I see an offer that fell through and it looks like "everyone" involved had to eat the loss including the OP. Looks like nobody has a working copy including the OP. Shit happens.
