Full Version: [HELP] Using adsense on Blogger

Hi everyone,

I had a blog around 5 years ago. It was a personal one I used before I'd even heard of internet marketing or BBHF. The blog was on Blogger and I used it for a while and Google kept hounding me to setup adsense and monetize the account. I did this and ended up with a warning as I'd inadvertently said "click here to visit sponsors". Okay, I was new to it all and didn't understand TOS fully. I stopped using the account and it lay dormant.

Fast forward to around a month ago. I decided to revive my old personal blog (to do with my efforts to lose weight). I set everything up, have posted numerous posts/pages and have had around 1600 visitors so far. I'm not too fussed with the number of visitors though as its just a personal blog.

Now, when I click on Earnings and try to monetize the site, it says my site is not eligible for Adsense at present and I can't continue. I'm assuming this is partly because of the warning, but also partly because of the fact the blog is almost the same name (the only thing that has changed is its now .co.uk instead of .com) The thing is, my adsense account is still live and I actually use it on a website I have which is bringing is a small amount of income.

So, my question is, even though I can't monetize my blog through the blogger control panel, can I still use my adsense account to put ads on there using HTML codes/widgets?

I need to set up another blogger blog for a project I'm working on and I intend to monetize that one and send traffic, but I'm worried Google will ban my account as they won't let me monetize through the dashboard. Does anyone know if I'd be violating the TOS and risking a ban if I just added the ads manually, i.e. adding html code?

Thanks in advance.
