I noticed it says Updated Currency Rate on the image above. SO that means one has to always wait for update to currency to use this?

I havnt used it yet myself, i would imagine by that rates are updated at either predetermined regular interval, or on demand / processing. you wont be held up at all, if anything it would be the other way around
It would be beneficial to be able to lock it in place for a while specially in countries like mine
