Honestly I have not much idea about this as the Licorne team did not reveal it much to me. But they somehow hinted that the promotion is not based on time period and it is rather based on sales. In other words the coupon code will automatically be disabled once they have hit the sales volume they target (eg: 200 sales).
Anyway just a little information about the v4 (I have been working quite closely with them). It seems that they are trying to transition the traditional and classic LAIO's semi automated link building approach to fully automated like what we are having in GSA. In other words all link harvesting will be done automatically in v4 and manual human intervention is completely optional in v4. Everything seems to be looking pretty good so far and we can expect a lean version of v4 to be out in 2 - 3 months.
For whoever that is interested in purchasing LAIO but does not have the budget to do so -- You can actually opt to purchase LAIO via a groupbuy since a lifetime license comes with 2 PC usages. I've once asked the Licorne team whether it is legal from their perspective and they seems to be completely fine with it.
If it's possible, based on the group-buy, to get AIO a bit more cheaper than the offer with 70 bugs, then I would participate on the buy!

I highly doubt they would lower the price further for any kind of promotions they may come up with in the future. Also given the fact that they are so near to v4 release which I feel would be a major overhaul and game changer to the SEO industry, they have somewhat hinted that LAIO will soon introduce a monthly subscription and the lifetime license will be much more costier compared to how much it is being priced right now.
However if you really keen in purchasing LAIO and only wish to use it on single PC, then you could probably consider sharing with another friend or group-buy where both of you share the $70 and one person takes one PC usage each (since a lifetime license comes with 2 PC usage).
When will v4 out? Eagerly waiting for it. From my knowledge it's going to be web based.
Is this still a good software to purchase? Would like to buy ASAP if it still gets good reviews..

I am pretty sure it's dead. Not only according to that ....other forum you linked to.... but the Official Licorne Forum shows the same thing. People are complaining that they need to move their license to a new machine, but the admin/dev is not responding to anyone. It's really a shame, Licorne seemed like a very promising software, they just did not do the best job marketing it.
Thank the heavens I always start reading at THE END of a sales post!
