Does anyone know how to improve eBay listings, in order to get a lsting form far behind to the fist page?

Thanks - any useful and helpful advice is very much welcome.
yea, you pay for a sponsored ad. other than that, if you give a couple examples of your listings and who you are on ebay, maybe i can be of more use here. you haven't given anything for me to go on to answer this question specifically for you who seems to already have listings

It depends on numerous factors. eBays algorithm is for the most part a mystery but they give plenty of hints on what information their system uses to decide where your listing ranks. This includes shipping and handling time, feedback, shipping methods, images, seller metrics (DSR) etc. Make sure to include the keyword in the title and in the appropriate spots in the listing. Fill out everything possible that eBay requests including barcode, category, size, etc etc. Use plenty of high resolution images, offer same day shipping, optimize your listing for the keyword, have a competitive yet lower price, get Top Rated Seller status (very easy). Basically the overall better shopping experience you offer to your customers the better chance you have at placing on the front page. This is not 100%, I have over 3,500 items listed on eBay. By following those guidelines many times I do get on the front page or even number one for whichever keyword I am targeting..but sometimes I place on page 154, and it seems like everything I think I know about eBay's algorithm gets tossed out the window. Trial and error is your best friend in that game and you can always change around your title and listing to attempt to get a better ranking.
