It is good for someone who is new to Facebook marketing, but not at the price at which this costs. At $1500 this course is overpriced by at least 15 times, specially when you consider that everything that this course contains is available on major internet marketing forums and blogs.

The name is Traffic Genesis - however, it only focuses on traffic from one source - Facebook.

The course hits the points which basically every FB marketer worth his salt is aware of, and conveniently leaves out topics such as following which are actual bane of any FB marketer -

1. how to research for building a custom audience
2. how to Optimise your ad-spends using oCPM, CPC, CPM. The course even misses out on telling you in what situations to use CPC/CPM/oCPM.

There is an obscure tool(follow.net) they've used for researching ad strategy of your competitors, which apparently doesn't work without having a paid subscription and outside US. You'd expect after paying $1500 that at least the tools would be free. Second tool is a FB ad image creator, which is not a big deal as well.

Seriously, after going through the videos, I cannot believe that they are charging people 1.5k for this.

Good if you are new to FB marketing, specially when you're getting it here on BBHF. For $1500 this is nothing short of a scam.

If you are a FB ads veteran, skip this, save your time and do something more productive.
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that feels this way.

(I actually found this on a different site a few days ago, and the README .txt file in it was from here, so I wanted to come find this thread.)

I'd watched the sales video, so going in I knew it was only gonna be about Facebook - which was fine with me. I've done some FB marketing in the past - just dabbled around and I'm going to be getting back into it very heavily.

I was especially interested in how they structure funnels (what they termed as "leading people toward micro-commitments" in the sales video)...only to not find it as part of the course? Maybe it was an upsell or something. This was actually the main reason I came looking for this thread, as the aforementioned README said the course wasn't complete - maybe it was in a module I didn't have. Doesn't appear so.

(Does anyone know where the funnel info is?)

With how much emphasis was placed in the sales video on proper research, I was beyond surprised at how quickly it was glossed over in the course. The follow.net resource was cool (though I honestly haven't had a chance to check it out yet), but it gives you keyword-based info...not demographic based info. There was a "quick and dirty" tie to using graph search, but how little time was spent on how to best utilize graph search was (IMO) borderline appalling. I've gotten WAY more quality, usable graph search info from free articles at Jon Loomer's blog. Hell - she spent more time in the intro video discussing the history of paid ads than she did discussing how to effectively use graph search.

I'm sorry...but that sucks.

I'll go through the retargeting, which is something I hope to learn from as I honestly know very little about it right now.

The info on utilizing Insights to create look-a-like audiences based on conversions and such was a good nugget. Though it wasn't really given in any sorta "step-by-step" methodology (i.e. - use graph search in 1 of these 3-4 ways, run a short campaign, ensure this tracking is in place, then use Insights in this way to create a look-a-like audience, etc.). Maybe it was later in the course - nothing was alluded to in the videos I watched. It was more of a "here's a bunch of cool stuff you can do...figure out how to make it best work for you".

I likely shouldn't b!tch b/c I did find this online for free, but the fact that they're charging $997 for this is insane. This should be a $97 course. $147-197 at the most.

Lots of good info on how to setup basic ads and use the power editor...but that was the bulk of the course. d*** sure shouldn't be charging $1k, IMO.

If you're brand new to FB ads, then this can educate you. If you're experienced or are looking for some refresher info, then it's Ok - there are a couple good nuggets here and there. If you're advanced and regularly do FB advertising, aside from the aforementioned nuggets, I'd expect this to largely be a waste of time.

I agree with Nobb14 on what he said. I watched all the videos that I downloaded from here and I felt like they rushed it just to make a quick buck.
bump please
