Yes, this started when they merged the software forum with the scripts forum. Each forum is intended for a different audience. For an instance, I'm a *nix user, I'm in here for scripts/themes only. I have no use for cracked Windows software. The same applies to those that aren't webmasters (they don't need scripts or themes) but are looking for SEO software.

+1 on the keep things separated initiative.

I agree with you.
I think the same thing:
scripts and templates should not be in the same area of softwares

and what about that ? any comments from admins ?

Messy sub categories need a cleanup badly.
