I wish we knew for sure whether or not it calls home. If doesn't a GB should be possible if there are no installation limitations. Then again, at least it doesn't cost that much so if I have to pay for it I won't feel like I took a hit.

Disconnect from internet and open it.

If it opens it doesn't call home. (maybe)
