So FB has quietly retired @facebook.com emails, redirecting FB domain emails to users' primary email addresses. This could be great because you could use custom audience scrape tools and then send emails to the FB members you scraped for free - no ad costs.
Except it doesn't work because FB can tell that you're mass emailing and returns an error message. It does seem to work if you send emails one at a time some of the time, but it's not reliable enough. I tried mail-merging and emailing via a new Gmail account and only a very small number of emails go through as far as I can tell.
Any ideas? Until FB completely drops emails, it's worth trying to make this work, yes?
