What does it do:

Just curios if is there any easy way to convert a cubecart4 to opencart?

No probs :)

Well there is no easy way, cuz tables and primary keys are different, also product listings.
But you can do it on this way:

- Export all cat and prod from CubeC to csv or xml file
- Install fresh OC on ur server and export all dummy products, now you have OC "how it looks" exported file
- Change respectable fields in cubecart export with related fields in OC (or vice versa) - and that is that

Now just import new file into OC

Warning: Pay attention to images paths

Also, you have few online migration tools and web pages (commercial)
