for a newbies, what is the best affiliate program?

Both memberships are chock full of free information that goes above and beyond most programs. I remember when wealthy affiliate was just getting started, the creators are very involved and responsive with their members. Affilorama has tons of free training as well, you should be able to evaluate each program just based on their free stuff. Of course, neither of them will make you wealthy, you have to roll up your sleeves and put in the time and elbow grease to start working on the learning curve and actually get some projects rolling.
Another cool program is by PotPie Girl, I believe her real name is Jennifer Ledbetter? She is actually a student of Wealthy Affiliate and puts a unique twist on using the tools and info. available there. She has a few courses, just Google her.
