an entire industry has been built around SEO--worthless as that concept may be. (getting to the top of 3 bazillion results?? please.)
his idea is to BRAND yourself (the unique name). no one "looks up" walmart, nor is walmart trying to SEO itself to the top of the heap. what he does with his brand and how he goes about promoting it are surely debatable. i cannot believe he's mechanical turking his way to the top with this. he probably tried that FIRST, had so-so results and decided to package it as the first tier. (you'll get your $7 bucks worth at that stage). and the example sites he's giving you? those were his "losers". this guy is not giving away the farm. not for $7.
to me, the gold is probably in those oto's. if your BRAND (and the product behind it) becomes buzz-worthy or has viral possibilities, run with it--with your newly minted crazy-ass unique name. makes more sense than trying to crawl up the SEO mountain.
btw, all i hear nowdays from slash and grab gurus, is pushing the BIG TICKET ITEM. (who cares whether you can get the info cheaper or better someplace else...just package it into a funnel that you can ram down some gullible customers throat then brag about it in a new WSO). if you're after that model, the above fits perfectly....
