Something doesnt make sense to me!
How is he giving them $10 gift card. That acan only happen AFTER they have purchased the product and he got his commission. However for the whole campaign to make sense for the Freebie Seekers the gift card/coupon MUST be applied while they purchase which they can see it is not a gift card but a coupon....whiich defies the whole idea..
There are other implementation issues that i spotted which kinda dont make sense!
Anyone cares to elaborate?

As i see it, he sells products in his own webshop.
Here's a scenario:
Cost for product wholesale: $5
Sells product for $20 in his shop
Gives away a $10 "gift card"
-> Makes $5 profit
If you don't want the hassle of shipping then you can consider dropshipping and implement this strategy, should work fine..
I don't think you can just list CPA offers on those sites, would be cool though but die pretty fast.
