I disagree. I grew up in a poor city and watched some african american guys eat very liitle yet grew from every workout. They were so poor, they had to carry water 1/6 mile to their home.
They had well developed chest and shoulders and traps.
Muscle growth is 25% workout and 75% genetics (high white muscle fiber and high testosterone). If you are lacking in these 2 areas only then does food become important. It is not a fix for all.
I do agree with you that he know his stuff, but the only way to truly bypass poor -moderate genes is really brief hard training. Herschel Walker for example eats once a day, but trains like a monster plus he has supper genetics.
