The step relating to growing your Facebook page to 10k fans using Facebook groups looks to be the most problematic yet they seem to be portraying it as an easy task - is it that straightforward?

In most cases it is, but it all depends on your niche.

If your into 'knitting socks' as an example then there may well not be 10k in this niche but it would be highly targeted.

Sharing information about something you are passionate about is far easier than trying to search for a money making niche although with practice you can achieve the desired results in any niche.

I wouldn't worry too much about getting 10k fans, I would focus on what they want, then give it to them.
