Unless you are talking about the actual file share sites feeding you an exe? If that is the case, you are downloading the wrong file link and clicking on their adware bullshit.
I suggest using "gett" if you ever see them in the list of mirror sites for a share, they are fairly reliable and don't push a bunch of crap in your face:
