I HAVE heard that site tha gets unnatural links is bound to come under penality knife..(even if quality backlins)
is it true ?

unnatural links will kill SERP longterm - structure then scale your link building campaign and you wont have to worry

Yes, unnatural links will hurt you in the long run. Be sure to have a lot of supporting brand and url links, that way your keyword anchor text links wont stand out as much.
